The reason that most broadcasters do so until the copyright and very real complexities of the commercial areas of content distribution (to verify you’re not doing anything illegal). But what about the modest, the average user? How do you write the iPlayer, Channel 4 or Hulu videos on your computer so you can watch whenever you want, as if your home VCR or DVD recorder?
Well, the answer is to purchase some decent software that allows you to “burn” or “capture” streaming video on the hard disk.
Note that the recording and capture, not the same. With ‘writing’, what happens is that the software really is connected to the broadcasting system and then tries to get the record from the specified place and begin to download it to a folder on your hard disk.
